Why I Created Showit Templates

I’m going to be honest for a minute…

I love designing for the web but from my experience both in design school, and in working in marketing agencies I quickly learned things don’t always go as planned.

And that experience made me richer because I felt like it primed me to make better decisions in my own entrepreneurial journey!

I quickly saw how timelines can drag on, and just when you think you wrapped up and put the final touches on a clients project, along comes another round of edits.

It can seem like the deadline of Friday March 20th turned into May 1st, and so on and so forth.

On top of this, I didn’t have any control over the development aspect myself. It was handed over to a web developer to code so while I enjoy the designing aspect, it felt strange if I’d ever call myself a web designer one day and not handle all that myself.

I actually like learning about SEO and the nitty gritty details that make a website both effective from a form and functional standpoint.

So, then I found Showit.

It actually couldn’t come at a better time. See, I always considered myself a “brand designer” and love putting together marketing suites like this, this, and this, so having the final piece of the puzzle in the form of a website was the next logical step! In fact, it was long over-due!

And in this blog post, I mentioned why I think having a pre-designed template ready to go is often a good idea to start (and will save you money in the long run versus custom!) and then you can customize from there.

I want to create gorgeous websites that are easy for you to manage for service-based businesses going forward, and have absolutely found that solution in Showit.

And like I said, I consider myself a brand designer foremost. So if you want a consistent brand experience across all touchpoints that reflects the professionalism of your services, and don’t want to experience any tech hiccups, printer mistakes (see this instagram post for more info!), etc you’re in the right place.

I completely understand running a small business is overwhelming at times, so my hope in having these website options available and ready-to-go, you’re saving a lot of time and resources in getting a professional web presence up and ready to share with your clients a bit sooner!

Every template purchase includes a series of 8 video tutorials from installation to launch as well!

So, shop now!
