Whether you purchase a Showit Template or have a professional customize it for you (saving you much time), the process of having your new website setup on your Showit account so you can full control of it going forward is likely top-of-mind.
So in this post I thought I’d quickly go over the installation process of integrating your new website into your Showit account.
By the way, this process is also outlined in my Video Training that comes complete with each website purchase. So if you’re unfamiliar with the website building platform, you’ll easily get acquainted with all it’s unique features and benefits in my 8-part video series!
Here’s the simple installation process:
How Showit templates are installed is you would first obtain a Share Key generated by Showit. This unique code you can access through the PDF download that comes instantly with your purchase with any By Stephanie Design Showit Template. Copy the series of numbers then install using the simple steps below:
Step one: Click your name in the bottom left hand corner of the Showit interface.
Step two: Chose Add to Library to access the share key Dialog Box.
Step three: Paste the Share Key into the Shared Design Key field. Then click Enter.
Step four: The next dialog box that will appear (not shown here) allows you to Preview the design before adding it into your Showit library. Press the ‘Add now’ button to complete the transfer.
Step five: The process is complete! You can access the design in your Showit Account library!
